  1. Tip - Christmas Tree!

  3. A few people have asked about clipart for Ami Pro in the way of Chrismasy
  4. stuff.  Well, making it's debut appearence: (drum roll here) our very own
  5. Christmas tree!  You can have it for *your* very own simply by downloading
  6. XMTREE.SDW from LIB 0!  Other Christmasy .SDW files uploaded (in place of the
  7. Tips today) are HO.SDW - a Christmasy looking greeting; STAR.SDW - the star on
  8. the Christmas tree; XMAS.SDW - the words "Merry Christmas" and the Christmas
  9. star; XMSTAR.SDW - The Christmas star, complete with long tail; and TALLBOX.SDW
  10. - a giftbox which can be sized to make different shaped gift bo;xes under the
  11. tree.  All of these will be uploaded into LIB 0.  BTW, if you have any Ami Pro
  12. draw files that you are prouud of, whether Christmasy or not, you too can have
  13. your name idolized by those less artistic then yourself.  (Actually, it doesn't
  14. take too much artistic talent to create circles, squares, triangles and lines!)
  15.  Upload your .SDW file to LIB 0 and we will "publicise" them!

  17. Tips - Merry Christmas

  19. In place of the tips last week I uploaded several .SDW drawing files, whichsome
  20. of you have sampled.  This week, we have something new and even more fun. One
  21. of our reps wrote a macro to access Window's dll's for sound.  He incorporated
  22. these calls into the macro so that you can compose and play back music 32 notes
  23. at a time.  So, what's more logical then to create a few Christmas songs, as it
  24. *is* the season, for you to enjoy!  In LIB0 there are two zipped files.  One is
  25. the macro, the dialog box file and a .SAM file explaining it's use.  This file
  26. is called MUSIC.ZIP.  The other file is XMAS.ZIP appropriately named for the
  27. songs it contains.  There are 12, as in "Days of Christmas".  After unzipping
  28. these, copy your MUSIC.SMM into your Macro's directory (Note: do not forget the
  29. MUSIC.EXT file for the dialog box!), then diplay each of the "music" .SAM
  30. files, position your cursor on the beginning of the song (below the graphic)
  31. and select Play from the Macro added menu option.  Have fun!  And Merry
  32. Christmas!

  34. Tip - Christmas List

  36. There is a new macro and style sheet in LIB 0.  Download XMSLST.ZIP. After
  37. unzipping it, read XMASLIST.ASC for detailed instructions.  This is a style
  38. sheet for creating a Christmas gifts list and the matching macro, will help you
  39. keep track of your Christmas budget spending.  Enjoy... Happy Holidays!
